Firm History
Our firm was founded in 1943, in New York City by Albert M. Panariello, Sr. and Richard M. Matthews. Prior to that time, Mr. Panariello, a CPA and attorney, worked for one of the largest international CPA firms, after which our firm was patterned. Mr. Matthews served as Dean of the Pace University Lubin School of Business Administration and served on many of the national and state professional committees involving the education of CPAs.
The firm has continued to prosper over the years. We have expanded and now have offices in both New York and New Jersey. We have four partners at the firm who are supported by a carefully selected staff of CPA's, accountants and administrators.
Our Clients
Our clients span a broad spectrum of industries and professions. From one-person operations to large international corporations; no client is too small. In fact, we work closer with our smaller clients realizing that their support staff may be limited.
Our clients often look to us to recommend attorneys, investment advisors, and money managers.
What sets us apart from other CPA firms is we are large enough to serve a wide client base, yet small enough to hear and respond to our clients' needs.
Qualifications
To ensure our professional leadership, we maintain active memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. Our staff of professionals is a highly qualified group brought together to help our clients succeed. We keep our staff abreast of changes and current issues within the profession through our continuing educational programs.
Services
We offer a full range of services to our clients. This includes audit, tax, business advisory, and accounting services.
